Meet Ed
I am a lifelong resident of Lenawee County, where I grew up on my family's fourth-generation farm. My wife, Wendy, and I feel fortunate to have raised our children on that same farm. Lenawee County is a special place to us.
I attended Northern Michigan University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and spent 6 years working at a private civil engineering firm before accepting a position at the Lenawee County Drain Commissioner's Office.
I've now been employed at the LCDC for over 24 years. I've worked in many capacities at the Drain Commission including as a field crew member, equipment operator, field inspector, and working in the engineering department. I was promoted to Drain Superintendent in 2008 and Deputy Drain Commissioner in 2016. I have a unique understanding and a great deal of experience in drain commission operations.
